Have you noticed the many internet marketing books using the word “secret” in their title, headline or copy?

Why do they do this?

Is their actually one or two online marketing methods or strategies that are going to bring to your site an ever growing consistent stream of willing to buy targeted clients?

The simple answer is NO.

Unfortunately many website owners think this is not the case and continue to accumulate book after book and software package after software package looking for “the ultimate web traffic method”.

The fact is that there is no one single marketing method that will make your online business successful, period. Only continual application of the right methods will see your business grow and expand.

The main reasons why most people think there is one main method is because of the following four elements:

- If you wanted to be a "plumber", you would do your apprenticeship and then work for someone or then start your own business. If you wanted to own a "milk bar" you get a business loan, buy the "milk bar" and start running the business. Why do we know this and why are there no so called "secrets" regarding being a plumber or running a milk bar? Because these businesses have been around for a long time, to start them is "common knowledge".

- Therefore because the internet is new and evolving, how to start an internet business has yet to become "common knowledge" and there is still many unknown aspects regarding the subject unlike traditional business. Unfortunately, many now capitalize on this "unknown aspect" by selling so called "secret information" type products thus only increasing the myth regarding internet business.

- Even if starting an internet business was "common knowledge", there is simply too much information to decipher. Unlike going to the local library, finding the business section and picking one or two of the five books on "starting your own business"; you are now on the internet. You have a world library, the business section is as big as a football stadium and books on "starting your own business online" are in the thousands (including many misleading ones).

- This final point is the most important one. People want to believe there is an easy way to get a lot of web traffic and make a fortune without any work; they just have to find it! This is just human nature.

So know you know that you must use more than one internet marketing method to make your online business successful.

Earning through Blogging

I started blogging about 9 months ago, back then I didn’t even knew what to blog about, but then my cousin told me that I could earn uber amounts of cash via blogging…and I learned that it was not an easy task for a newbie freelance blogger like myself to be a Pro-blogger ( which is Professional blogger getting paid online) so it’s not only about blogging about what I like, it’s about thinking of ways how I can earn by blogging and actually having fun doing it.

Well first of all I started first on focusing on the important part… What is a blog? we all know what a blog is… we could say that it is a collection of your thoughts and ideas written in a conversational manner on every article that has a bit of your personality stamped in it.

What to blog about? depends on what the type of blog you want to represent… if you want your blog to technical then write about technical stuffs write about Windows Vista or Firefox, or about new gadgets and newly discovered technologies or a gaming blog then write about new releases of games new, cheats, walkthroughs and such on the hottest consoles on the market such as Wii, PS3, PS2, Xbox 360,Nintendo DS, PSP and such.

And then focus on making people come to your site and read your articles which is better than earning money through blogging. I was asked a question how to earn through blogs, well, based on my experience I started blogging through Payperpost, Blogsvertise , which are good for startup bloggers (but remember your blogsite must have at least 10 posts or more to be accepted) and Sponsoredreviews. Check these sites out if you get accepted you can earn as much as $10-20 per post.

Aside from that getting a break by being asked to blog at Xboxdream, PCExtreme, Gadzooki, and Blog-Tutorials which has been a steady flow income and I’m thankful for that.

Earning through blogging is very hard and may take a while if you don’t have the commitment and time, you won’t last a month just blogging for a living… after all success doesn’t come overnight. I wanted to quit blogging dozens of times because I wasn’t earning enough to live a normal life… hehehe…there are lots of ways to earn via blogging… here are some on them.

Why is it traffic so important...

Well duh!! Traffic is everything if you are making money with your website.. no traffic no money..

So how this is going to be done?

What is traffic?
Traffic means number of people visiting your website..
The higer the traffic is, the higher the possibility that the person would click your google ads are high. WOW!!! KA-CHING!

There are two types of way to increase your traffic.. first is using man power.. second is using will power..

Man Power
It doesn't mean you really uses "man" power... haha.. This kind of way/method to incrase traffic is to by involving money($$$), and it also actually means you pay people to help you to get your website become more popular. It is the fastest and most effective at the moment...

Some company like google adwords, they offer website owners their services. They help the website owners to advertise their websites.. in return owners have to pay them back ofcourse..

And that is when google adsense exist! (Learn how to earn money with google adsense.) Now, google giving another website owner(us) another opportunity. They are paying us for helping google to advertise the websites that are being asked to advertise through google network ...
Conclusion, those who are adsense user - we work with google company. We help google to advertise, meaning we are helping the original website owner to advertise. And ofcourse, the advertisement will be done through our own website(like mine). We get money for helping!

Confusing huh?? Keep reading.. its getting more interesting!

So the amount money you get depends on how many people click on your ads from google. For example:- my google ads gives me cash if you click it.. But do remember, dont click your own ads, thats violating rules!(Read here about how to get better clicks) That is why traffic is so important!
